With 15+ years experience in physical therapy in the Columbus Ohio area, our therapists have worked with local orthopedists, primary care physicians and professional athletes in the area. Our goal is to have you regain function, confidence and the ability to return to daily and recreational activity.

A common misconception is that you are required to do your rehabilitation at a facility owned by your physician. Just like you can choose the pharmacy where you buy your medication, you can choose your physical therapist.
At Avida PT we deliver a different type of care. It's provided by an experienced therapist in a one on one manner, the care is tailored to YOUR specific needs and goals. You will see the same therapist, for your entire visit every time.
DIRECT ACCESS: In the state of Ohio you can choose to visit a physical therapist without visiting a physician first. Of course we recommend you start with a physician, urgent care or emergency room when you have experienced a trauma, fall, motor vehicle accident or other incident which requires x-ray or other further medical evaluation. However overuse injuries, recurring issues, and most musculoskeletal diagnoses can be managed with the guidance of a physical therapist.
